Coral Banded Shrimp

Location: right middle of tank

Almost always under a rock, the shrimp sometimes lunges at the fish. Luckily for the fish, the shrimp has never caught any.

Brittle Star

Location: right side of tank, usually under rock

The Brittle Star, also known as the "monster", frequently lurks in the shadows under the rocks. When it smells the scent of frozen(not live) shrimp, it creeps out of the cavern from which it was hiding within toward the tasty meal, wraps its arms around the shrimp and swallows it whole.

Bristle Worm

While they will sting you if you touch them, The Bristle Worms are helpful by cleaning up unwanted organic matter.

Hermit Crab

Location: anywhere in tank

Always in search of food, the Hermit Crabs are somewhat agressive to each other, agression primaraly from the big Hawaiian Zebras to the smaller hermits. The shells these small critters carry with them are not really theirs, but instead the shells of dead snails.

Sally Lightfoot Crab

The Sally Lightfoot Crab, often called "Sally", frequently pick at the rocks with its claws in search of algae

Emerald Crab

Although the Emerald Crab moves slowly, it can seem to almost jump from one place to another when your not looking. This small, dark green crab is rarely seen as it hides well in the rock.

Snail

Most of the snails are Turbos while there are a couple of Cowries, some Cerith Snails, and a Mexican Turbo. These critters clean most of the algae in the tank, especially on the glass
