Foxface Rabbitfish![]() ![]() Quantity: 1 Diet: Garlic Soaked Nori, Mysis Shrimp, Algae Flakes Favorite spot: right half of tank (except before or during feeding) The Foxface Rabbitfish is a unique fish having venomous spines along its dorsal and ventral sides, extending them when stressed or thretened along with discoloring. Percula Clownfish![]() ![]() Quantity: 2 Diet: Mysis Shrimp, Algae Flakes Favorite spot: far right end of tank Made popular by the movie Finding Nemo, the Percula Clownfish is probably the most recognizable of saltwater fish. Many people think that these triple white striped, orange fish need anemones to survive, but some clowns will not even host in these flower-like polyps. Green Chromis![]() ![]() Quantity: 1 Diet: Mysis Shrimp, Algae Flakes Favorite spot: small caverns in rocks, anywhere in tank While appearing inappropriately named due to their light blue color, these slightly shy fish do look somewhat green when viewed from above. Blue Damsel![]() Quantity: 1 Diet: Mysis Shrimp, Algae Flakes Favorite spot: upper rocks on far right side of tank Shyer than the Green Chromises, the Blue Damsel prefers to hide within the rocks, occasionally venturing out. Then it dives back in when frightened. It once resided on the far left side of the tank, rarely to be seen on the FishCam. Now it is a common fish to be seen. Kole Tang![]() Quantity: 1 Diet: Garlic Soaked Nori, Mysis Shrimp, Algae Flakes Favorite spot: anywhere in tank The Kole Tang is a brownish fish with many lines running fron head to tail. Often swimming through the large caverns of the rocks, it frequently bites the rock and glass attempting to get a snack of algae. Coral Beauty![]() Quantity: 1 Diet: Garlic Soaked Nori, Mysis Shrimp, Algae Flakes Favorite spot: anywhere in tank As the name implies, this is a beautiful fish. Although some have been known to nip at corals, this one has not not been seen doing so. Blue Hippo Tang![]() Quantity: 1 Diet: Garlic Soaked Nori, Mysis Shrimp, Algae Flakes Favorite spot: middle of tank The Blue Hippo is the newest addition to the aquarium. This one has been seen acting somewhat strange. One night it wedged itself into a gap between the rocks and stayed still for minites at a time. The next day, it was acting fine. Back to Top |
